Candidate required to clean the factory.
Tasks can include:
· Using the road sweeper through the factory
· General housekeeping ensuring that fire escape routes are free from obstruction
· Sweeping with brush
· To undertake weed killing duties across the site
· Cleaning spills
· Removing empty boxes
· Ensure safety at all times of work areas, clearly cordoning off and signposting areas when works in progress or underway but attended.
· Provide support to other engineering operatives within the team to ensure effective service delivery.
· Delivering winter services, including gritting and snow clearance.
· Reactive repairs and maintenance
· Ensuring fire and H&S signage is in good condition and serviceable, repairing or replacing where required
· Responsible for the condition, cleanliness and stocking of the workshop
· General appearance and presentation of the site
No specific experience needed. Candidate should be reliable and able to work unsupervised for portions of the day. Full training will be provided.
